Although race day registration is available, there is no guarantee of shirts and other schwaag, so we encourage you to register in advance.

Course records are different from the event records because of a change in the route in 2024.
The R4DT is 4 miles and the course is USATF Certified (NY24029DNB)
Of course! We encourage runners and walkers of all abilities to participate. Walkers can start at 8:45 so they will be able to finish with the runners. We just ask that they do not block runners as the runners pass them.
Although the party is free to all registered participants wearing their bib #’s, non-participants can purchase a wristband with a $10 donation and be allowed full access to the Hudson Valley’s greatest Post-Race Party.
No! When you register to run or walk the R4DT online you will be asked if you are participating in either challenge. Just click yes and then enter your team’s name when prompted.
Runners’ toilets will be found in the parking lot behind Run 4 Downtown Park that has the stage.
All participants preregistered before July 31, 2025 will be entered into a lottery for a pair of complementary tickets to see REO-Survivor, A Tribute to REO Speedwagon and Survivor at the Paramount Theatre on Thursday, August 14 at 8pm. Fifty lucky winners will be notified by email on August 1.
